A must watch film by Ingmar Bergman

The Cinephile Quarantine is streaming online free films by great directors. This week, watch "The Seventh Seal" by Bergman. The film is available from 5th to 7th May.

Considered a classic of world cinema, as well as one of the greatest movies of all time, "The Seventh Seal" contains scenes which have become iconic through homages, critical analysis, and parodies, of life, death and war.

The film is based on Bergman's own play Wood Painting and the film title refers to a passage from the Book of Revelation: "And when the Lamb had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour".

A must watch at the "Campo Alegre Theatre".
