A Port Wine Event you can't miss at Bolhão Temporary Market

Eat and be merry for tomorrow the "Vinho do Porto" [Port Wine] is the host to the Saturday events at Bolhão Temporary Market, this 23 March, starting at 3pm.

The Port Wine Brotherhood will offer insights on the basics of Port Wine and answering questions like how are the Ports made, how many types of Port there are, and so on.

The famous Port wine is one of the great classic European wines and its history is a long and fascinating one. The Portuguese fortified wine is produced with distilled grape spirits exclusively in the Douro Valley in the northern provinces of Portugal.

There will be a Port Wine tasting in three varieties, paired with products of the market.

Entrance, as usual, is free.

It should be highlighted that the Port Wine Museum has recently opened its new facilities, in Ribeira.
