Starting 27 October and running until 29 October, the Customs Building hosts the fourth edition of the Alternative fair of Porto.

Regarded as one of the greatest events in the areas of health, personal development and general well-being, this initiative promises a large weekend devoted to different therapies, like yoga, meditation, reiki, massages, Readings and Healing of Aura and dances.

Jorge Coelho Lopes, from the organization, believes that there is an "increased awareness in the Portuguese society towards the balance needed between the physical, the emotional, and the spiritual and the Fair is a combination of the three factors".

The fair features more than one hundred exhibitors of natural cosmetics, essential oils, incense, books, handicraft, workshops, practical lessons, meditation classes, and several lectures on diverse therapies.

The invited panel includes the reputable Croatian therapist Braco. Celebrities like fashion Designer Donna Karan, top model Naomi Campbell or actors Matt Bomer and Alan Comming report worthwhile experiences with this therapist.

The fair opens at 3 pm on 27 October. Tickets can be purchase in the entrance area. There is a daily pass available that costs 5 euros and the three-day-pass that costs 10 euros.
