The net inflows of foreign direct investment in Porto are growing and it relates to a well-defined strategy, which contributes to strengthening the map of economic areas in the city of Porto.

The eastern area of the Invicta is taking on a significant role in the city development. This new reality was debated in a conference promoted by Vida Imobiliária, where Porto competitiveness was discussed in the European context.

The meeting was attended by several players of the real estate sector and municipal authorities who reaffirmed the interest of several companies settling in Porto.

The quality of life, the urban rehabilitation works and the municipal policies are key factors that make Porto a foreign investment attractive destination.

The examples given are the Terminal Intermodal of Campanhã, a transport network that will represent a great change in the city's mobility, the transformation of the former slaughterhouse into a cultural and business centre, as well as a community space.

The current economic trends in Porto, encompassing the entire municipality, is acknowledged abroad as it has a huge positive impact both on people's lives and in the city as a privileged investment destination.
