There is a new resident at Sea Life Porto, the first one to be born in captivity. The baby streak of the fish species Rhinoptera bonasus, better known as Cownose ray, was born in September in the Sea Life Aquarius in Porto, and it is now, for the first time, shown to the public.

The baby streak underwent a quarantine period under official control, and five month later, it is back with its family.

Sea Life Porto has prepared a number of activities to celebrate the occasion.

For starters, there will be a contest to choose the baby's name on Facebook - SEA LIFE Porto - and during February there are short lectures and feeding sessions every day of the week.
