There is splendid cinematic offer by Medeia Cinephile Quarantine, as every week there are three phenomenal films to watch for free at home.
This week is all about Werner Schroeter's films.

Social distancing and self-isolation are current realities that heavy on us all; however, the magic of film is one of such things people can rely on to immerse in another reality, during the quarantine.

Medeia Filmes provides free online streaming of three films per week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and this week is Werner Schroeter's work that is broadcasted by Medeia.

Werner Schroeter was a German film director, screenwriter, and opera director known for his stylistic excess. He was cited by Rainer Werner Fassbinder as an influence both on his own work and on German cinema at large.

Magdalena Montezuma, a German underground star that became his muse until her death in 1985, helped him write the "Der RosenKonig" (1986), and it was the last film she participated in.

The film "Deux" (2002) is also one of the films to be screened at this Cinephile Quarantine. A young woman named Magdalena retrieves a postcard that had been cast into the wind by her biological mother from a seaside town in Portugal and discovers that she has a twin sister named Maria.

Also, "Diese Nacht" or "Nuit de Chien" (Esta Noite) is the third film to be streamed by Medeia Films. It is the story of a group of people try to flee from a dictatorship government.
