The City Park hosts the race and Walk with Autism in Porto, on 1 May. The Race is scheduled for 10.30am and the Walk is set to begin half an hour later.

This event takes place on Labour Day, as it was previously scheduled to happen on 17 April, and it had to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

The goal of the race is to raise awareness for autism by educating and empowering those with autism to do great things and those without it with a deeper level of love and empathy for their fellow human beings.

This event is organised by the association "Vencer Autismo", supported by Porto City Hall, via PortoLazer, and the Sports Centre of the University of Porto.

Participation in the race is done at a symbolic price (five euros, which includes a t-shirt of the event) and the walk is free.

This is a 5 km race and the walk is 3 km.
The event kicks-off at Avenida da Boavista. The application form is available online
