The Art and Spot Gallery, in Porto, at Alameda Shop & Spot, showcases a tribute to icon artist Bob Dylan. The exhibit will be on show during the month of July. The circa 20 caricatures are an homage to the American singer-songwriter, author, and visual artist who has been a major figure in popular culture for more than 50 years.

"The year 2016 is a landmark in History, as it was the first time that a Literature Nobel was awarded to someone that has created true poems and has adapted them to the tradition of American music", declared Alameda Shop & Spot, in a statement.

This exhibit is part of PortoCartoon 13th edition, organised by the World National Press Museum (NPM), and gathers the work of caricaturists from countries such as Germany, Bolivia, Bosnia, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, Egypt, Guatemala, India, Iran, Israel, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Uzbekistan and other. This artwork can be appreciated either on the Alamedas' official webpage or on social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

A protocol was celebrated between the National Press Museum and the Alameda Shopping, so as to create an "Art spot" and to showcase PortoCartoon caricature exhibitions. The art and Spot has already hosted tributes to Amália, Manoel de Oliveira, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sara Sampaio and Woody Allen.
