Casa da Música opens doors to celebrate Austria

Casa da Música (CdM) opens doors for four days (17 to 21 January) and invites the audience to participate in a set of events that are access free.

Between today and Sunday, it is possible to watch rehearsals, take part in educational activities, watch films, visit the stage and backstage of the building that breathes and shares music for over a decade.

This event is titled "Casa Aberta" [Open House] and it integrated in the 10 days that mark the official opening of the Austria year at CdM.

Música no Coração [The Sound of Music] is the telling name of the official program of 2018 at Casa da Música, devoted to Austria, and already the theme for 2010.

For this season the programme includes Anton Bruckner' symphonies and the Concertos for Violin by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
