Celebrating diplomacy with the National Ballet of China at Coliseu Porto Ageas

The National Ballet of China (NBC) will perform at Coliseu Porto Ageas on 27 March to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Portugal and China.
The Central Ballet Troupe, as it is known in China, was founded on 31 December 1959. The ballet company works from the Tianqiao Theatre. It was built in 1959 and it was renovated in 2001.
NBC goes on international tours and the repertoire of the company includes Chinese and Western ballets, according to its current director Feng Ying.
The performance is scheduled to start at 9pm and it is promoted both by the Mayor of Porto and by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Portugal.
Entrance is free, upon prior collection of the ticket at Coliseu Porto Ageas ticket office.
