On 31 August and 1 September, Alfândega do Porto will host the Pro Skate League. More than fifty international athletes are expected to participate.

The event, organised by the Portuguese Skating Federation, brings together a number of national and international competitions, such as the street round of the national Amateur League, open to both male and female athletes residing in Portugal.

Additionally, the event will feature the professional round of the Pro Skate Series, aimed at both national and international athletes who will compete in an Open in both the male and female categories.

On the other hand, the Master Series round is aimed at national and international athletes over the age of 30 who will compete in an Open in the mixed category. In turn, the Adapted Skateboarding League round is aimed at national and international athletes with disabilities who will compete in an Open in the mixed category.

All competitions allow participants to earn points for the national ranking across various segments and categories, and will also serve as preparation and/or qualification for the Olympic ranking. This event marks the start of the annual ranking for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle.

The Pro Skate League Festival is approved and recognised by World Skate, the sport's international federation.

The most eagerly awaited competition of the year for skaters from around the world will take place in the parking lot of the Alfândega do Porto building, at the same time as The World Battle Porto 2024.

The event is organised by the Portuguese Skating Federation and has the support of the Porto City Council, through the municipal company Ágora.
