Coliseu Porto Ageas Open Day happens on 9 May

The Open Day of Coliseu Porto Ageas takes place on 9 May and entrance is free.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in two workshops and visit the theatre backstage. 

 

The Open Day initiative is aimed at celebrating the first year of Coliseu Porto and Ageas International Insurance Group partnership. Charitable organisations and public at large are invited to visit Coliseu Porto Ageas on 9 May, from 2.30pm until 5.30pm.

The Open Day programme includes guided tours and two workshops (on voice, songs and on mouvement, promoted by Balleteatro, the resident Artistic School of Coliseu). Visitors will be able to sing and dance on stage at the Coliseu, namely in Sala 2, as well as to get to know the spaces reserved to artists.

The first guided tours are scheduled to take place at 2.30pm, and it is organised exclusively for Charity Institutions; the second guided tour is set for 5.30pm and it is targeted at the general public.

The voice and singing workshop is arranged for 4.30pm and 5pm and the movement workshop takes place at 4.30pm and 5pm.
Each session can be attended by a maximum of 20 persons and requires prior registration.Those interested should send an email to inscricoes@coliseu.pt. 

The Ageas and Coliseu Porto partnership was settled in March 2018 and it includes a partial funding for the necessary refurbishing work.

"This was the first naming of a cultural institution in the northern region and the partnership has been a success for both institutions. We want to offer something special to our audiences, as is the case of guided tours", as announced by Coliseu Porto Ageas.
