Concert at Rivoli to celebrate the foundation of the Porto Conservatory Symphonic Orchestra

The opening ceremony concert of Porto Conservatory Symphonic Orchestra that was held on 22 June 1948 will be recreated, almost 70 years later in the very same room, Thursday, June 22 starting at 9.30 pm at Rivoli.

At the time, cellist Guilhermina Suggia was soloist and Karl Achatz was the conductor.

In the context of the centennial celebrations of the Conservatory, the orchestra's cello soloist is Júlia Margotto Barahal, and Fernando Marinho is the conductor.

The ticket has a cost of 5 euros and can be purchased at Teatro Rivoli, Fnac, Worten, El Corte Inglés and online.
