Delightful long weekend devoted to fashion at Porto Customs

Following New York, London, Milan and Paris, the next stopover is the city of Porto that plays host to Portugal Fashion, one of the most important fashion events in the industry, from 14 to 17 March at Porto Customs.

Fashion designers, brands and "houses" will showcase their collections in the catwalk and give a hint on what to wear for the coming season.

The highlights are Maria Gambina, Júlio Torcato, Katty Xiomara, Diogo Miranda, Luís Buchinho, Miguel Vieira, Nuno Baltazar, Alves/Gonçalves, Luís Onofre and Alexandra Moura.

This Portugal Fashion edition is also the moment to get to know the new creations of Modatex students, namely Sofia Vieira da Silva & Ashma Karki, Rita Sá, Mara Flora & Maria Meira and Daniela Pereira. Also, the session Bloom Upload will present new designers that include Carolina Sobral, Arieiv, João Sousa and 0.9 Virus, starting at 6pm.

Moreover, renowned designers to the industry are solid evidence of the vitality of this event namely Marques Almeida and the ready-to-wear collections such as TM Collection, Meam, Concreto and I Am What I Wear designed by Impetus.

Footwear and leather manufacturing sector will be represented at Portugal Fashion by such brands as Ambitious, Fly London, Gladz, J. Reinaldo, Lemon Jelly, Nobrand, Rufel and The Baron's Cage.

Portugal Fashion is organised by ANJE- National Association for Young Entrepreneurs, jointly with the Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal (ATP), with the funding of Portugal 2020, in the framework of Compete 2020
