The next event "Ideias à Prova", which could be translated as a taste of insights and ideas by the participants, will be held on 11 April at the restaurant Oficina (located at Rua de Miguel Bombarda, 282), to debate the cultural and historic importance of Porto and what the future holds to the Invicta, starting at 8pm.

This session invites the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, Chef Marco Gomes and the oenologist Luís Sottomayor.

"Porto, the city that has given its name to the Portuguese nation, and since the country's history has had a decisive and relevant role in the affirmation of the Portuguese identity, was the starting point for the Age of Discoveries, Liberal Revolutions, and much more; there is no denying the political, economic and social prominence of Porto", as explained by the organisation.

The next "Ideias à Prova" has invited Rui Moreira, Mayor of Porto to share his insights, Marco Gomes will share his "Solid Evidences", and Luís Sottomayor, from Sogrape will add some "Liquid evidences".

The session is promoted by AGAVI - Association for the promotion of Gastronomy, Wines, Regional Products and Biodiversity, the cycle of dinner-debate "Ideias à Prova" aims at "giving voice to a region - the North - that has always been dynamic when it comes to sharing new ideas and political, economic and social models".

The Cycle, which began in 2016 always invites three guests, namely a Chef, a Oenologist/Wine producer and a relevant figure in the Portuguese society, that acts as "the thinker".

The Chef and the Oenologist put their propositions forward and the Thinker starts the debate, by using a verb!

Seats are limited and the application is mandatory. The price is 25€ per person.
