Duo Litanei will go on stage at Rivoli on 13 April

Duo Litanei, made of cello player Hugo Paiva and pianist Mrika Sefa go on stage at Rivoli, Small Auditorium, on 13 April, at 5pm.
This event is jointly organized by the Silva Monteiro Music Programme. 

Hugo Paiva was born in Vila Nova de Famalicão and began his musical studies at the Artave. Hugo continued his cello studies with Professor Paulo Gaio Lima at the National Orchestra Academy in Lisboa and later on at the Haute École de Musique of Geneve, under the direction of Daniel Grosgurin and Ophélie Gaillard, where he earned his Master in Music.

He was a member of the Menhuim Academy, directed by cellist Pablo de Naveran and of the Ensemble Menuhin Academy Soloists, directed by Maxim Vengerov. He played around the world in various tours in Europe and in America.

Mrika Sefa was born in Kosovo, where she began her musical studies. She concluded her musical training with Professor Misbah Kaçamaku. Mrika earns her degree and Master in Switzerland, in the Universities of Basel, Bern and Lucerne. She has been awarded several prizes and she regularly participates in Chamber Music Projects, especially as a duo with Portuguese cellist Hugo Paiva.
