Entrepreneurship Pitching Event in Porto this April

The Start & Scale Week 2019 is set to happen from 1 to 6 April and it will go the furthest to date in terms of international business pitching ideas. The event is promoted by Porto City Hall, by means of the ScaleUp Porto strategy and it is held in coordination with the International Collegiate Programming Competition (ICPC) World Finals.

This youth entrepreneurship Week gathers over 40 thousand computer science students from all around the globe, under the motto "Future of Tech Force", with a view at identifying how synergies can be established to increase the overall impact of ICPC communities and the national ecosystem as well.

The International Collegiate Programming Competition is organised by the University of Porto, with the support of Porto City Hall.

Porto will play host to 135 international winning team of programmers, of major universities worldwide, representatives and Alumni, gathering circa 1200 people.

A novelty this years is the possibility of the community to take part in the event, as a volunteer, in lectures or visiting the venue to get to know participants.

The Start & Scale Week introduces entrepreneurship to young people and it is the perfect occasion for startups and major companies to identify opportunities and boost synergies.
