Erva Daninha features new dates for the "READY" show

The Company Erva Daninha features new dates for its show "Ready", which falls within the creation of Contemporary Circus. It will be presented on 18th and 19th September, should the sanitary conditions allow it. Access is free. 

In the meantime, why not ponder on the "warfare movements, and on warrior fights sublimated and dissimulated by dances", as "contemporary juggling is employed as a composing language", which "is transformed and changed, while keeping the risk and challenge associated with circus".

The premiere will offer dancing warriors, handlers of invisible weapons, and three jugglers that establish a kind of dance of objects, bodies and atmospheres "in a composition based on repetition, overlap, and forward and backward movement".

ERVA DANINHA was set up in 20006 and its mission is to develop contemporary circus creations, exploring the dialogue between different performing arts.

The company is also involved in the Trengo - Porto Circus Festival and Mostra Estufa organisation.

Erva Daninha is also one of the resident companies at Teatro Campo Alegre, under the Teatro em Campo Aberto programme.
