European brewery culture is back with Porto Beer Fest

The Gardens of Palácio de Cristal play host to the third edition of Porto Beer Fest. The event runs from Wednesday, 13th June till Saturday, 16th June.

Much more than just "open up and swallow", this event teaches you how to taste and drink beer.

Porto Beer Fest is back to Gardens do Palácio de Cristal to let you in on how to pour, look, swirl, smell, drink and taste beer like a pro. Participants will have a full plate with beer tasting, snacking, enjoying the music and even watching the Football World Cup matches on a giant screen set up in the premises.

This event is held as part of the São João Official Programme and offers visitors over 300 beer styles, from national and international breweries.

More than 40 thousand beer aficionados are estimated to attend the four-day beer festival.
