The end date of the exibition on the Manueline Foral, displayed at the City Hall foyer is two days away. Friday, 29 December is the last day to enjoy the exhibit themed "O FORAL DO PORTO. 1517-2017. MARCA DE UM REI, IMAGEM DE UMA CIDADE", in English it translates as "The Foral of Porto. 1517-2017. The Hallmark of a King, the Depiction of a City".

This show marks the 500 years of the existence of the Manueline Foral granted to the city of Porto by King D. Manuel in 1517. This exhibition has a significant historic and artistic value as it was the basis of municipal foundation.

The Foral was a royal document in Portugal and its former empire, whose purpose was to establish a town; the town's administration and privileges would be defined in that document.

Porto was granted such an honour due to its loyalty to the King and the city has since then been named "Ancient, Very Noble, Always loyal Undefeated City".
