FITEI and DDD will be the quintessential of performing arts in Porto

This year marks the combining of two arts festivals in Porto, namely DDD- Days of the Dance Festival and FITEI - International Iberian Theatre Festival, from April to May.

This joint organisation will allow audiences to find their desired performance, be it dance or theatre, as Rivoli will accommodate five consecutive weeks of both national and international arts programming.

Tiago Guedes, Artistic Director of Porto Municipal Theatre, emphasised that "such festivals have a strong presence of Brazilian artists", as well a whole week devoted to "Portuguese performers".

The festivals have a far-reaching programme, which suits the needs of both our youngest visitors and adults, making the city of Porto the "quintessential of performing arts in Europe", as stated by the organisation.
