Free cinema outdoor screenings at Monte Aventino

Looking round the not-to-miss activities in Porto, one is drawn to the "Cinema Fora de Sítio" event this summer season, with free cinema outdoor screenings. 

With fun and trill that goes on for days, from 31st July till 29th August, free movies sessions will be available in Porto, of every kind for every taste and age.

However, the initiative is committed to one single location, due to Covid-19 preventive measures, namely the Sports Centre Monte Aventino. This 21st cinema cycle features 10 films for tem nights, every Friday and Saturday, starting at 10pm.

Again, in line with health measures issued by the health authorities, the space will have a maximum occupancy of 380 seats, scattered by the courts and benches. Seats are occupied according to the first-come, first-served rule, and doors open one hour prior to the movie screening.

As usual, Fridays feature films targeted at younger audiences.

The cycle Cinema Fora do Sítio is jointly organised by Porto City Hall and the INATEL Foundation, via the municipal company Ágora - Cultura e Desporto do Porto.
