Full lineup for Porto's New Year's Eve celebration in Avenida dos Aliados

Looking for the best New Year's Eve party? Look no further! Porto has all the elements for a tremendous end-of-year party featuring magnificent fireworks, launched from the City Hall that will last 16 minutes. Also, five minutes before the stroke of midnight, there will be a surprise to all revellers in Aliados.
Curious? So are we!

Spirits and energy will truly buzz at this massive open-air party in the Avenida dos Aliados, with literally merry weather also showing up for the occasion (weather forecast is extremely advantageous, promising fair weather and a bright evening), and the party kicking off at 9.30pm with DJs Gonçalo Mendonça and Francisco Aires, from Porto, DJing and entertaining the crowds and warming things up for the two main concerts of the evening.

Tiago Nacarato debuts in his hometown Porto, featuring his album "Lugar Comum", on stage at Aliados, at 10.30pm.

At midnight there will be an exquisite countdown to bid 2019 farewell and to welcome 2020: the pyromusical show themed "Magia de uma Noite" ["Magic of one Night", free translation], will last 16 minutes, with a total of 18.965 pyrotechnic shots.

The show goes on with Miguel Araújo, who will be the first artist to embrace the New Year at Avenida dos Aliados. The musician will perform music from his five released albums, namely "Cinco Dias e Meio" (2012), "Crónicas da Cidade Grande" (2014), "Cidade Grande ao Vivo no Coliseu do Porto (2015), "Giesta" (2017) and "Uma Noite na Philarmonie Luxembourg" (2018).

The Duo Dj Radiola will keep the music going at Praça dos Poveiros and at Largo Amor de Perdição, next to Cordoaria. The merriment is ongoing between 10pm, on 31st December and 4am, on 1st January 2020, also with Dj Mero, Pedrinho K and Vítor Oliveira.
