Artist and illustrator Daniel Padure was born in Romania. His is the new street art mural, located at Rua da Alegria, next to the Reservatório dos Congregados.

The artist lives in Portugal since 2008, and authored the “Water Cycle” new mural, which is part of the Urban Art Programme of Porto. The work is intended as a portrait to our strong connection with water. The image sequence extends for nearly 50 metres and makes people discover a story of this character that interacts with the continuous movement of water, which is essential to his, and our, survival.

We can’t exactly visit the mural at present time, but this is an interesting overview that sure promises that when in-person visits are possible, it will be just as rewarding. For the time being, let’s take time to appreciate art in the world by means of photography.
