Casa da Música helps create movie magic with time travel concert-films. Today, the Argentinian composer, Martin Matalon presents a new soundtrack for the French film "The Golden Age" or "Age of Gold", with a live performance by Drumming percussion group, at Sala Suggia, starting at 7.30 pm.

This is the story of societal double standards, featuring the duplicity of the sexual behaviours of bourgeois society and the moral standards of the Roman Catholic Church. Luis Buñuel directed this film, which was released in 1930 and it was one of the first sound films made in France.

On 16 February, in the context of the Invicta. Música. Filmes. Festival, the film concert themed "Animated World" will delight children and adults alike, also with the screening of several of Chaplin and Keaton's films, namely "Bang on a Can", with live music by the symphonic orchestra.

The final presentation is on 19 February, at 7.30 pm, at Sala Suggia, with the screening of the film "Shelter" by Bill Morrison and the live performance of Remix Ensemble Casa da Música, of the soundtrack composed by David Lang, Michael Gordon and Julia Wolfe.
