Municipal Associativism Fund applications run till 7th August

Applications to the Municipal Associativism Programme of Porto runs till 7th August. Only applications submitted in person in the Townsman Office, upon prior appointment. Porto City Hall urges that all associations, clubs and collectives that wish to apply to submit their application in a timely manner. Appointments are made via phone number Porto. (220 100 220).

In line with the legal preventive measures regarding Covid-19, face-to-face service at the Townsman Office is made by previous appointment, and there is a limit number of in person appointments every day.

Thus, the Municipality of Porto advises all applicants to submit their applications in a timely manner, via Linha Porto. 220 100 220, available from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 7pm.

The Municipality of Porto doubled the funding of the 2nd edition of the Municipal Associativism Fund in 800 thousand euros, which was approved during the Municipal Executive Meeting of 18th May 2020.

The fund features some novelties this year, as it will be divided up into four areas: Social Cohesion - 300 thousand euros, Culture and Entertainment - 200 thousand euros, Sports - 200 thousand euros and Youth - 100 thousand euros.

This Municipal Fund was established in 2019 and the main purpose was to support associations in the city and to contribute to their activity and renovation.
