On April 1 and 2, Casa da Música hosts the solidarity musical event "Terra dos Sonhos", starting at 9.30 pm.
The performance revenues go entirely to the "Terra do Sonhos" organisation, whose stated mission is to fulfil the dreams of children, teenagers and the elderly experiencing sensitive situations.

Director Matilde Trocado came up with the show in 2017 to mark the 10th anniversary of this social organisation. The performance will be on stage again so as to continue fulfilling dreams.

The plot unfolds in a hospital waiting room, where Marta, a ten year-old girl and Daniel, a fifteen year-old boy, realise dreaming is always worthwhile.

The "Terra dos Sonhos" [Land of Dreams] is devoted to the accomplishment of dreams from children and adolescents diagnosed with chronic diseases and/or in terminal phase, as well as elderly people in need.

The goal is to bring to everyone a message of faith and hope regardless of one's difficult circumstances.
