Nadah El Shazly will perform a concert at Rivoli's understage, on 13 April, at 11.30 pm.

Shazly is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Her artistic productions can be defined as experimentalist as her work embodies new meanings to the popular music of her homeland from the early 20th century and offers different sonic and harmonic frontiers.

She started learning to play the piano very early on, around pre-school, and also took soprano vocal training.

At the age of 17, Shazly joined the punk band Sick Gdrch and in 2009 the artist pursued other genres, performing jazz covers in a hotel in Cairo, taking part in many projects on Egypt's indie scene and engaging on electronic productions.

By the end of 2015 she began working on her debut album, Ahwar, which was released in November 2017 and was a huge success. It also made numerous year-end best-of lists.
