New Year's Eve in Porto 2019: what to watch and where to watch it

Ring in 2019 with Porto's best events and parties. Awesome shows and performances in Porto to welcome 2019. New Year's Eve countdown in the Invicta starts on 29 December with singer Diogo Piçarra on stage at Aliados Avenue.

The last night of the year 2018 takes Portan singer Pedro Abrunhosa to Avenida dos Aliados, featuring his newest album "Espiritual", as well as invited surprise guests, in a show that will last for three hours.

Also, downtown Porto offers three different performing arenas, all access free at Largo do Amor de Perdição (Cordoaria), Praça de Gomes Teixeira (Leões) and Praça dos Poveiros.

The goal is to provide different audiences with various music genres in downtown Porto.

The music programme concludes on January 1st with the New Years' concert by the Portuguese Symphonic band, conducted by maestro Francisco Ferreira.
