With a rainy November start in Porto take time to explore the Casa do Infante, which offers a children specially targeted tour around the place.

Every first Sunday of each month, amilies are invited to visit the venue and get to know the highlights of the Casa do Infante Museum, at their own pace. This activity starts at 11am and it takes as long as you want or need. Entrance is free.

Casa do Infante has prepared a "backpack" filled with two playful and educational games - according to the children's age - that will get you through the House of the Prince (Henry, the Navigator), the name also given to Casa do Infante.

Grown-ups and children will then enter an adventure to discovering this historical house in the civil parish of Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória, in the municipality of Porto.

Walk around this house, originally built in the 14th century as customs and whose name derived from an oral tradition that suggested the house was the birthplace of Prince Henry the Navigator in 1394.

The Casa do Infante is located in the historical centre of Porto, designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO, in 1996.

While there, take the time to visit the Medieval Porto scale model, on show at Casa do Infante.
