Porto Book Fair, running from 28th August to 13th September, is also pleased to introduce this literary event as a recreational and educational happening for children, with organised and carefully prepared activities for the younger visitors that go along these cultural events.

As such, there is a lot going on around children's content at Porto Book Fair, hosted by the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal, the formidable meeting point for children to be involved in creating a taste for arts, in general, and for books, in particular.

There are talks about books, reading of short stories, travelling workshops, performances, and painting ateliers, just to mention a few.

All activities are organised and carried out in full compliance with the guidelines issued by the health authorities.

Activities are participation free, but access is limited to capacity availability, except for the Mini Portobelo market, prepared for the younger ones and scheduled to take place on 5th and 6th September, at the Lago dos Cavalinhos.

These events have limited capacity, due to the ongoing pandemic, and prior registration is mandatory via email bmp@cm-porto.pt. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
