Porto City Hall approves financial grants for the InResidence Porto Programme

Six artistic residencies in the city of Porto will be granted financial support, following the decision taken yesterday at the Meeting of the Executive Body, with the global value of 36 thousand euros.

Porto City Hall grants support to artistic projects based in Porto, namely the InResidencePorto platform for a period of two months.

This interface for the international dissemination of spaces and art residency projects was established a year ago and brings together both national and international artists, in several artistic domains, including visual arts, cinema, video, animation, dance, theatre, literature, art criticism, poetry, cartoons and caricatures, digital media, installation, music and sound.

Circolando, Mala Voadora, Maus Hábitos, Mira Forum, Sonoscopia and Museu Nacional de Imprensa were the selected residencies to receive support from the municipality.

The amount of the grant varies depending on nationality.
