Porto Extreme XL: the show is back to Ribeira on 12th May, from 2 pm to 7 pm

Porto Extreme XL Lagares is back to Ribeira do Porto on May 12th, from 2 pm and 7 pm.

With the best ever list of riders registered and the bonus of inaugurating the new international championship World Enduro Super Series (WESS), Porto Extreme XL Lagares, this event is one of the most thrilling Enduro races and this year's edition brings together the best riders from 21 different nationalities and 240 participants, in all five classes, including PRO, Expert, Hobby, XL and Veterans.

The opening of the World Enduro Super Series (WESS) brings the best international teams to the race.

The main class (PRO) gathers 40 of the most experienced pilots, including those struggling for the top in the WESS.

This will be the first time that the Portuguese calendar race in Porto will host all the riders that are part of the different official teams, namely KTM, Husqvarna, Sherco, Beta and Gas Gas.

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team will bring to Portugal the five drivers that are part of their ranks, namely Taddy Blazusiak (first time in the race but sixi times Super Enduro Champion), Cody Webb (Newly-crowned World champions of Super Enduro), Jonnhy Walker, Josep Garcia and Nathan Watson.

The rival Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Enduro Team also features pilots Graham Jarvis, Billy Bolt, Colton Haaker and Alfredo Gomez, three-time winner of this race (2014, 2015 and 2016).

Wade Young (Sherco), winner of Porto Extreme XL last edition, Mario Roman (Sherco), Paul Bolton (KTM), Travis Teasdale (Beta) or Lars Enockl will also fight for a place in the podium.

Portugal will be represented in the main category by Nuno Pereira and Joel Vieira.
