Porto Food Week (PFW) kicks off from 21 March to 30 March 2019. For ten days, the city of Porto celebrates gastronomy, from restaurant cuisines and dining rooms, to Chefs and clients, or even author cuisine and street food.

Whatever you think of, Porto Food Week has!

This is the first edition of the twin event Lisbon Food Week (LFW), which is organised since 2016.

The organisation, Edições do Gosto, has brought the event to the Invicta to honour Porto Cuisine.

The activities programme includes a Kitchen Forum, themed Pensar Cozinha [Think Cuisine], and a prize giving ceremony from the Flavors&Senses Porto Blog and culminates with an after-party by the Confraria da Rabanada.

The organisation has also prepared routes that include the best restaurants in town, but bear in mind that these are mere suggestions. There is also another route, the "Rota das Tascas" that happens on 23 March and prior registration is required. This is organised by Pedro Ornelas and it is a kind of Foodie Paper, where participants get to visit the most traditional cafés or taverns in Porto.

There will also be special dinners and Chefs Marco Gomes, Hélio Loureiro, Rui Martins, Miguel Castro e Silva, Pedro Limão are some of the hosts. Note that these happen on 21 March.
