The Harmos Festival kicks off on 19 March and fifteen concerts will be held in various venues in the city of Porto, including performances at the City Hall Council Chambers, at Casa do Infante, at Casa da Música and at the Museu Romântico.

There are venues that offer far less expensive tickets than orchestra concerts and some are even free. For a week, HARMOS Classical will be hosted in Porto and at several cities of north and centre Portugal.

The City Hall Council Chambers acoustically superior venue features three Chamber Music concerts on 20, 21 and 22 March, always scheduled to start at 1pm.

The Casa do Infante will play host to a performance on 20 March, at 7 pm and the Museu Romântico will feature a concert on 22 March, at 7pm.

HARMOS' mission is to promote artists and their music to a real audience, bringing music to big cities but also to small villages. This year's edition features a total of 32 concerts and continues its tradition to promoting music as an art route.

This event is organized by Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo from Porto's Polytechnic (ESMAE).
