Porto Municipal Theatre spotlighted at international level in Brest and Lyon

Porto Municipal Theatre will present a contemporary choreography creation in two of the most relevant international dance festivals the coming year: DañsFabrik, in Brest, and the Biennale de la Danse in Lyon.

These institutions have developed closer relations in the context of the DDD - Days of the dance Festival, which started in 2016 and was promoted by Porto Municipal Theatre and Porto City Hall, jointly with Gaia and Matosinhos municipalities, of the Atlantic Front.

DañsFabrik is synonym with creations, international choreographers, exhilarating meetings, experiment areas, workshops for everybody, a festival where a group of directors showcases the best of international contemporary dance.

After Brazil, Greece and Chile, Portugal is the invited country to be part of the 2018 edition of DañsFabrik, Festival de Brest, which will take place from 12 to 17 March 2018, under the supervision of Tiago Guedes, the director of Porto Municipal Theatre and the invited curator of the national performances.

Also spotlighting Porto contemporary choreography is the participation in the 18th Biennale de la Danse de Lyon.
