Porto Sardinia air link boosts tourism and trade

Porto Airport is a magnet for attracting new routes and new carriers. The latest announced air link Porto-Cagliari, in the island of Sardinia, via Ryanair brought Porto into the focus of the Italian island of Sardinia, one of the most exquisite tourist destination in the Mediterranean.

As such, Tourism of Sardinia was recently in Porto to show that that part of the world is "more than just an island" and that the region wishes to make known to Porto the "authentic and unknown Sardinia" as well as making Porto known to the Sardinians.

Cagliari links Sardinia to Porto, Portugal, with direct flights from Porto operated by Ryanair. The airliner offers weekly flights, every Monday and Thursday, all year round, at affordable prices.
