Porto sparks partnerships at MIPIM 2019

The MIPIM, the most importante Real Estate Fair in Europe is taking place in Cannes, France, from 12 to 15 March. The city of Porto participates with a Stand of its own.

Porto is enabling partnerships and networking at MIPIM, showcasing the city's best strategies when it comes to the Real Estate sector.

In an interview to Porto., Porto City Councillor for Urbanism, Public Space and Patrimony, Pedro Baganha, explains that "the reason for Porto being at the MIPIM has very much to do with Porto'strategy regarding property issues and the economic vision and the dimension of the urban planning and management, which is unique".

In the context of Porto's participation in MIPIM, councillor Baganha added that "when we start to talk about other cities, normally these two towering qualities are not combined, whereas in Porto, these two aspects - economic vision and the dimension of the urban planning and management - work together, which is added value to the city".

The key point is to put Porto "as a continuous player in this international fora", the councillor enthuses.

"My being here stands as the result of the team work we develop at Porto City Hall as well as the impact of the efficiency reputation that Porto City Hall has since Mayor Rui Moreira took office", the Councillor concluded.

This event was founded in 1990 and it is organised by Reed MIDEM.
