Porto Street Stage happens on 18 May downtown Porto

Tomorrow, Porto downtown will be the centre stage of Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2018. The World Rally Championship pilots go into action.

Thousands will be expecting the thrill of this race, accommodated in the stands, specially built for the race (and almost sold out) and also in the free access spots throughout the racecourse.

The clock is ticking and in less than 24 hours, the best rally pilots in the world are back in town for the Porto Street Stage, between Sé and Cordoaria with time trials.

The racecourse will be closed at the brink of day, for a safety inspection, with the official programme of Porto Street Stage scheduled to begin at 12.44 am.

Each team will ride the competition twice at the maximum speed of 60 km/hour.

Pilots Pedro Chaves and Fernando Peres will drive a Mitsubishi Lancer and co-drive guests throughout the racecourse.

Around 4.45 pm, old sports classic cars will drive through the track.

The first pilots will go on track at exactly 7.03 pm.

There will be eight large screens to broadcast the race.
