Porto welcomes 2019 with concerts and fireworks

New Year's Eve celebration at the Invicta gathered thousands of revellers who saw out 2018 and welcomed 2019, wrapped in music and fireworks.

As such, Avenida dos Aliados in Porto mobilised a massive public turnout and set a new record of revellers who welcomed in 2019 at the Invicta. More than 200 thousand people gathered at Avenida dos Aliados to ring in the New Year and experience an unforgettable evening.

As of 10 pm, several DJ's would set the mood for the celebrations at Cordoaria, Leões and Aliados, and together with singer Pedro Abrunhosa and the spectacular firework display, this New Year's Eve was a truly unforgettable experience.

New Year's Eve is indeed a special holiday, one that makes people closer to the values of love, solidarity and hope.
As the clock stroke midnight, fireworks went off in Avenida dos Aliados to celebrate the New Year in Porto.
