The 42nd edition of Portugal Fashion ended this Saturday, on March 24 and it was again a success.

The event gathered designers Katty Xiomara, Nuno Baltazar, Luís Onofre and Diogo Miranda, among others, putting forward the trends for the Autumn/Winter season 2018-19. For the first time, Portugal Fashion was held at the "City of Fashion", a space specifically created at the City Park of Porto.

A movable structure and stage was designed to host the fashion shows of reputed designers and less known design professionals, featuring several brands in the fields of garment and footwear.

According to the organisation, the four-day event gathered "over 30 thousand people", an increased audience compared to the previous edition.

The new location for Portugal Fashion in Porto was designed to offer two runways, "each with one thousand person capacity", the Communication Director of the event stated to Lusa Agency.

Also, the showroom presented around 70 brands in various fields with a high number of customers. This space did not require invitation.

Portugal Fashion is organised by the National Association for Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), jointly with the Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal (ATP).

This event is co-financed by Portugal 2020, in the framework of the Operational Programme for Competitiveness - Compete 2020, under the European Regional Development Fund.
