Quinta do Covelo shows bats

The Environment Education Centre of Quinta do Covelo will host the initiative "Bats farewell night", sponsored by the municipality, 27 October at 6 pm.

The event is free but prior registration is required.

Starting at 6 pm, there will be a role play of the tale "Apollinaris, the adventurous bat" and then a field trip to watch and hear bats.

This is an excellent opportunity to dispel myths about this nocturnal flying mammals and get to know a bit of their living habits.
