Shops across town take part in spring shop window decoration

Businesses and shops from various districts in Porto participate in the second edition of the spring shop window decoration. The window decorations will be on display till 11 May.

Storefronts have to be original and creative and the window decoration has to integrate the products on sale at the store. Also, the jury will assess the windows aesthetic design, regarding colour, lighting and materials used.

The three best window decorations will be awarded the Municipal Trophy and cash prizes ranging from 2.250 € (first place), 1.750 € (second place) and 1.250 € (third place).

The jury of the contest may give Special Mentions, where appropriate.

Held for the first time in 2017, this City Hall initiative is designed to engage local commerce entrepreneurs and traders in the city cultural tradition by means of quality artistic expressions.
