The second Cycle of Simultaneous Openings 2018 begins on March 10, starting at 4 pm.
In parallel to new exhibitions, there will be an outdoor programme of events that feature workshops open to the public, contemporary dance shows, in addition to the usual guided tours to nearby galleries.

This initiative is organised by Porto Art District and Porto city Hall. The novelty this cycle brings is that the openings will extend to the streets, bringing contemporary art closer to the people.

Moreover, municipal company PortoLazer, has programmed two workshops. The "Chapa Azul" Group will teach passers-by printing techniques, helping participants to design beautiful postcards.

The second workshop will be guided by Simão Bolívar, who will teach how to assemble articulated models of toys, made of cardboard.

There will be two guided tours to some of the district galleries, at 4 pm and 5.30 pm on March 10, themed Bombarda Stop & Go. These tours are participation free and last for about an hour.

Those interested in participating should register till 1 pm on Friday, March 9 via email stopandgo@portolazer.pt. Participants can register for the second timetable at Miguel Bombarda Street, on Saturday, before the tour.

Around 5 pm, there will be contemporary dance performances by the Balleteatro Company.
