String Quartet kicks off the 12th Harmos Festival at Porto City Hall

The 12th edition of Harmos Festival kicks off March 20, with a recital by Accendo Quartet, at Porto City Hall Main Hall.
The event is access free and it starts at 7 pm. 

Juliette Roos (violin), Sabine Sergejeva (violin), Alexander McFarlane (guitar) and Daniel Benn (cello) are members of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, of London, although recently established (2016) it is already acclaimed.

Also at the Main Hall of Porto City Hall, there will be other free-entry recitals, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week, starting at 1 pm, respectively by Marc Aurel Quartett (Strings), from the University of Performing Arts and Music of Vienna, by the Duo Ikt. (Percussion and saxophone), of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, and by the Trio Sol (strings), of the Music Academy of Norway.

Entirely devoted to chamber music, the Harmos Festival will run till Saturday, March 24 with a number of concerts in different locations trough Porto and in other neighbouring municipalities.

This initiative is organised by ESMAE- of Porto Polytechnic University with the support of Porto City Hall.
