Success of Portuguese Wines celebrated by The Catholic University

The success of Portuguese wines at international level will be marked by the Catholic University, in the framework of its 50th anniversary. A conference will be held to commemorate the achievement of Portuguese wines.

"Porto Tónico" is the event motto, scheduled for 11 January. This is the opening event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this institution as well as the success of Portuguese wines, its evolution and nature, in comparison with other countries.

The Conference will be attended by Tim Hogg, investigator in the School of Biotechnology of the Catholic University and Executive Director of the platform for innovation of Vine and Wine; António Graça, R&D Director of Sogrape Vinhos; Bento Amaral, Technical director of the Port and Douro Wines Institute and Manuel Pinheiro, President of the Commission of the Green Wines Grape Growing Region.
