By the time September arrived, both children and grown-ups were already convinced that the Water Pavilion is a must go place for holidays and weekends alike.

"You asked for it and we granted it", stated that equipment on Facebook.

The furore led to that institution extending the offering of a ticket at the Water Pavilion, for children up to 12 years old, when purchasing another adult ticket every Thursday and Friday for this month of September. This campaign was due to expire on 28th August, but now the offer is valid for 3rd and 4th September and for 10th and 11th September, as well. Children under four years of age are always granted free entry, as usual.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, visitor's number is limited; in order to ensure you have a visiting schedule available, the municipal company Águas do Porto advises prior scheduling, via phone numbers 934 440 072 | 225 190 888 or email geral@pavilhaodaagua.pt. The Water Pavilion is located at the City Park (entrance by the Estrada da Circunvalação).

The Pavilhão da Água - Water Pavilion, was granted the "clean & safe" certification by Turismo de Portugal, which acknowledges compliance with the health recommendations issued by the directorate-general for health, under the covid-19 pandemic.

In line with the rules issued by the DGS, when visiting the space, the use of face masks is mandatory, temperature will be screened upon entrance, and gel dispensers are installed throughout the building for hand sanitation. Maximum visitors' capacity is 20 people. Visits last for 45 minutes and every 15 minutes the space is fully disinfected.

To better enjoy the visit, it is advisable to use a guide and an audio guide during the tour, as information is available in four 4 languages, including Portuguese sign language, on the Water Pavilion App.

The Water Pavilion in Porto City Park has been recently extended and renovated, adding new experience modules to the permanent exhibition. The goal is to provide visitors comprehensive information on water resources management in a playful way.
