The legacy of May 68 featured by Theatre Company Estrutura at Rivoli, on 25 and 26 May

Theatre Company Estrutura features the show "M'18", revisiting the legacy of May 68 at Rivoli, on 25 and 26 May.

This show inspires remembrance and recalls the legacy of such "Mouvement", which began in Paris as a student's protest and extended to the entire French society, also affecting the world globally.

With this performance, Estrutura aims at assessing what this fundamental breakage meant and means at present, what memories do this "calling into question" bring, both to those who have experienced it and those who were born after the event.

Estrutura is a resident company at Teatro Campo Alegre, in the framework of the programme "Campo Aberto" of Porto Municipal Theatre. It was founded in 2009 by Cátia Pinheiro and José Nunes.

The companies' main objective is to produce and to create shows in the context of contemporary culture, steering artistic training and collaboration.
