Exhibition on football themed posters will be on show in the Main Hall of Porto City Council from 14th June to 15th July, to celebrate the World Cup.

Designers from the 32 countries competing in the World Cup in Russia, were invited to represent the feeling of the "game" by creating football themed posters, as a great deal of this summer is going to be about the passion for football.

"Passion, sweat and tears" was the motto for this poster creation event.

The main purpose of this initiative, organised by FOOTB-ALL MIX, is to celebrate the so-called king of sports - football - and to acknowledge the power of football, by "capturing the joy and passion of the game", as stated by Brazilian poster artist Felipe Taborda, who is the mentor of the exhibit.

The 32 posters will be on show at the Main Hall at Porto City Council. The exhibit opens on 14th June, at 3.30 pm and it will be on display till the end of the World Cup, 15th July.

Reputed graphic Designer, Eduardo Aires has designed the Portuguese contribution.

This exhibit is access free.

The collection of posters will be also be on show in countries that did not qualify for the World Cup.
