The Carlos Alberto Theatre (TeCA) presents "À espera de Beckett ou Quaquaquaqua" by Jorge Louraço Figueira, who is inspired by Samuel Beckett Theatre genre, namely his play Waiting for Godot, in which two characters, Vladimir (Didi) and Estragon (Gogo), wait for the arrival of someone named Godot who never arrives, and while waiting they engage in a variety of discussions and encounter three other characters.

Jorge Louraço Figueira's play combines theatre characters' fait divers with facts of the History of Portugal, namely the Portuguese actor Francisco Ribeiro - mostly known as "Ribeirinho", who enacted the "Waiting for Godot" classic play in 1959.

The play will be on stage from 9 till 13 January, on Wednesday and Friday at 9 pm, and on Saturdays at 4 pm.

This spoken word event is suitable for children after 4 years old, and registration tickets cost 2.5 euros.
Tickets for the play cost 10 euros.
